Fernand Denis Inc. is a residential heating and air conditioning company celebrating 50 years in business this year. We represent one of the largest manufacturers of heating and air conditioning equipment in North America.
We are currently seeking an experienced, bilingual Service Technician for our Gatineau branch.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating and air conditioning equipment. You will also be required to advise customers on the optimal operation of their systems and on solutions to improve energy efficiency.
Specifically, some of the tasks you will be responsible for include:
• Traveling to customer locations according to routes established by the office
• Diagnosing issues with electric or gas heating and air conditioning equipment and performing maintenance
• Completing required corrections and repairs according to manufacturers’ recommendations
• Writing service reports based on the work performed at customer locations
To succeed in this position, you must have:
• A DEP in refrigeration or strong knowledge of the field
• TAG 2 certification for gas and Class 2 refrigeration systems
• Relevant troubleshooting experience
• 3 years of experience in the field
• A valid driver’s license
• Bilingualism (French required)

• Being courteous, professional, and able to answer customer questions
• Organizing your schedule to manage multiple service calls while meeting deadlines
• Having good physical condition to lift and handle equipment that can sometimes be heavy
